My husband and I just completed the sale of our home in Pleasant Hill, and were very pleased with Pete Sabine and his staff throughout the entire process. Pete's years of experience in the Pleasant Hill market was key in our selection of him as well as his approach to developing a strategy that would meet our goals. Selling a home in CA is very complex, and we appreciated Pete's being on top of all the requirements and managing the details of the sale so it was seamless to us. Pete provided us with strategy options, highlighting the pros/cons, making recommendations, but always leaving decisions to us. Pete was responsive during the entire process responding promptly back to our inquiries. As the Executor of my mother's estate, I interviewed three Realtors before choosing Pete Sabine to represent the sale of my mother's home. Me, as a former Realtor/Broker with over 16 years of experience in the field and having been the top Realtor for Prudential in N. California during the 1990's, I understand a thing or two about how to effectively sell a property. My mother's home needed some work to get it "sale ready" and Pete was an invaluable sounding board as we not only discussed what needed to be improved, but also the strategy for navigating the new NAR commission guidelines which had thrown a monkey wrench into the entire real estate industry. His advice and counsel on how to work within the new guidelines to maximize exposure and price and about how to exploit the subtleties of the new guidelines to position to receive the highest possible offer (which we did and was above my expectations - and I expected a lot!) proved insightful and spot on. Throughout the staging and sale process, Pete was easy to get a hold of and quick to respond to questions. He made sure I was apprised of everything that was going on...rarely was there a question that wasn't anticipated. If you're looking to buy or sell in the Central Contra Costa area, I strongly recommend Pete Sabine and his team for their professionalism, knowledge, straight-talk, and guidance.
